Persephone

These illustrations of the Greek Goddess, Persephone were for 2 different assignments. The first was to draw our zodiac sign within a 20 to 30-minute time frame. I’m a Virgo so I drew Persephone which Virgo is based on. For the second one, each student in my illustration class was assigned to draw any Greek god of their choice. I figured, why just limit myself to only gods? so I drew the goddess Persephone in the Underworld standing next to Cerberus holding the pomegranate that Hades tricked her into eating. These were made for illustration courses at Tyler School of Art & Architecture.
